This beauty pulled up next to me at a stoplight and, much to my joy, pulled in at the garden centre right behind us. It’s a bit dirty but in superb condition.
I never intended for my “down on the street” posts to be so frequent but this year has been good to me so far.
Also spotted yesterday were 2 C7 Corvettes, 2 practically identical SL 380 convertibles, and that crazy Polaris trike-car. No pics because I was driving.

Syncro DOKA (Doppelkabine) Which was their double cab truck.
Those never made it to the states. They are not cheap.

Even in Germany complete rustbuckets (which they all seem to be) aren’t cheap. They’re not as insanely priced as they are in the US though.

I looked at this one last year, it was available to me for a “bro-deal” at $15k. It was horribly rusty, but titled in CA. No way I could justify that kind of coin for it, but it was the cheapest Syncro I’ve seen by a fair margin.

This is a bit of a restoration project
, but I doubt it’ll be anywhere near $15k when the auction ends. It’s not overly rusty either, for a T3. Swedish import.

It’s at least 20k for a rusty beater here in CA. And importing one here is almost impossible now.

These Synchro Doka 4 Doors are cool!!
Man, if you want a picture of a Polaris Slingshot, they are 3 on my small street... And found a Karma Fisker a block away from me.

Vehicles like the Slingshot aren’t exactly common in Verdun. Strangely enough, I’m more likely to see a Bentley roll through town... happens about 2 or 3 times a year.
